WHAT IS MAC?

 

The Marion Advancement Campaign (MAC) is a Not for Profit Community 501c Foundation, EIN: 71-0954220, dedicated to philanthropic activities which benefit the citizens of the City of Marion and the surrounding communities.

 

WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF MAC?

 

MAC operates to improve access to the improvement in opportunities for education, health, and recreation, promote a robust economic and natural environment, and support the infrastructure required to meet the needs.

 

HOW IS MAC ORGANIZED?

 

MAC is a 501c organized and registered within the State if Kansas. It governed by a nonelected board comprised of citizens of the County of Marion, Ks.

 

HOW IS MAC FUNDED?

 

Activities undertaken by MAC are funded by donations and charitable gifts from patrons on the communities it serves and through grants obtained by the foundation. Day to day operations of the foundation are funded through fees charged by the foundation for management of Directed Fund accounts.
